The Personal Story

With over 35 years immersed in the world of food, my passion began early, picking wild mushrooms as a child in country Victoria and entering the professional cooking scene while still at school.


I received formal, traditional training under European-trained chefs in prestigious restaurants and hotels across Melbourne and the Gold Coast, quickly progressing to managing my own kitchens from a young age.


My career spans diverse culinary environments, from intimate micro kitchens to expansive hotel operations, including award-winning fine dining and remote mining site catering. I also contributed to the training sector, working as a workplace trainer and assessor for both Federal and Queensland Government programs.


Combining a strong consulting ability with deep knowledge of food service equipment and operational details naturally led me into the food service equipment industry. Over the years, I have partnered with local and international manufacturers, facilitating millions of dollars in equipment sales and contributing to construction and manufacturing projects ranging from large-scale mining camps to compact mobile catering units.


This extensive, hands-on experience covering a broad spectrum of project sizes and types is available to you. 


Whether you need short-term advice or long-term on-site or off-site project support, I bring practical insights that can’t be bought but can certainly be hired.


My team and I collaborate seamlessly with architects, interior designers, and design-builders to create functional food service operations that are not only visually appealing but truly fit for purpose.
